On 11 March 2014, SIPRP commemorated ten years since the granting of the first process of authorisation as an Occupational Health and Safety service provider by the then IDICT, nowadays ACT.
DGS (the Directorate-General for Health) granted the application for authorisation submitted by SIPRP for the provision of Occupational Medicine services to companies that exercise activities involving contact with medium and high voltage electric current.

SIPRP currently supports Leigos para o Desenvolvimento (Lay Persons for Development), a Non-Governmental Organisation of Cooperation for Development (ONGD), in development projects in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé e Príncipe and Timor, which operates in the area of formal, non-formal and informal training, in the area of Community Motivation and Organisation, Education and Training, Entrepreneurship and Employability, Capacity-Building and Empowerment of Local Agents, Promotion of Voluntary and Pastoral Services.
Following the competition for the MAPFRE Award - Preventing Better 2012, a joint initiative of the ACT (Authority for Working Conditions) and MAPFRE Seguros, the selection panel decided to attribute an honourable mention to a Customer company of SIPRP due to considering that its project is distinguished in the promotion of working conditions and risk prevention in work contexts.
