IAQ - Annual Simplified Assessment (ASA)
Did you know that all commercial and service buildings in operation are subject to requirements related to indoor air quality and compliance with protection thresholds?
The Annual Simplified Assessment (ASA) is the procedure required by the applicable legislation in force, which determines that the following parameters must be assessed annually:
- Particulate Matter (PM10 and PM2.5 fractions);
- Carbon dioxide (CO2);
- Relative humidity;
- Temperature.
The Annual Simplified Assessment (ASA) must be carried out by the owners of the following buildings:
- ‘GES’ (Large Commercial and Services Building): commercial and services buildings with a useful floor area equal to or greater than 1,000 m2 or equal to or greater than 500 m2 in the case of shopping complexes, hypermarkets and supermarkets;
- Commercial and service buildings that include crèches, pre-school and primary school establishments and residential facilities for the elderly.
