SIPRP currently supports Leigos para o Desenvolvimento (Lay Persons for Development), a Non-Governmental Organisation of Cooperation for Development (ONGD), in development projects in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé e Príncipe and Timor, which operates in the area of formal, non-formal and informal training, in the area of Community Motivation and Organisation, Education and Training, Entrepreneurship and Employability, Capacity-Building and Empowerment of Local Agents, Promotion of Voluntary and Pastoral Services.

 One of the projects in progress is the Escolinhas Comunitárias do Niassa (Niassa Community Little Schools), which shall provide pre-school education to children of twelve villages of this province situated in northern Mozambique.

In spite of the severe worldwide crisis that we are currently experiencing, SIPRP continues to contribute, within its limitations, to a better world.
